The Tajik side proposed attracting Kuwaiti investments into priority sectors of the economy, such as agricultural processing, textile production, transport, and tourism. It was also proposed to create a Joint Investment Fund to implement large-scale projects.
As part of discussions on civil aviation, Tajikistan put forward an initiative to modernize aviation infrastructure and establish a joint airline with Kuwaiti investments. Additionally, the possibility of launching a direct Kuwait Airways flight between Dushanbe and Kuwait was considered.
The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development has allocated around $200 million for projects in Tajikistan’s transport, energy, and irrigation sectors. Following the meeting, a protocol was signed outlining specific measures for further deepening bilateral cooperation.
